The Garden is growing faster and faster everyday! We have harvested over 40 pounds of our spring spinach, and there are another 150 pounds expected to come out of the garden over the next two weeks! The sugar snap peas are coming on and we will begin harvesting them over the next two weeks also!!!
We have two types of snap peas, two types of shelling peas, and two types of snow peas. The snow peas and shelling peas are a couple weeks behind the snap peas though…
On other garden related news…the beneficial insects are arriving by the swarms. We have spotted 6 or more types of parasitic wasps, many Gardner snakes, a few types of toads, ladybird beetles, ground beetles, many bumble bees, swallow tail butterflies, and so many moths of many brilliant colors!
